Happy Resurrection Day!

 The day Christians around the world celebrate the resurrection of Our Lord, Our Savior, and Our God, proof that His sacrifice of Himself on the cross was acceptable to God the Father for the canceling of the sin debt of all mankind committed against the One, True, Holy God, and a path to reconciliation with God, through His Son, Jesus Christ, and His precious blood spilled for all mankind to cover all of mankind's sin, every sin. Why? Because without His sacrifice, there is no other way to be reconciled to God.

God the Father gave everything and it cost Him everything to put His Son on that cross, because without the shedding of blood, there is NO forgiveness for sin(Hebrews 9:22). And what does God ask of mankind in return? For mankind to realize that they are a sinner before a Holy God and the only hope for mankind is Jesus Christ and to accept His free gift of salvation by faith in Jesus Christ, alone. After all, Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through Me."(John 14:6) That is all you have to do, have faith in Jesus Christ as Your Lord and Your Savior and you will be reconciled to God with your sins thrown as far as the East is to the West. No greater gift has ever been given to mankind and Jesus knocks on the door to your heart(Rev 3:20) for you to ask Him into your heart.

There is no greater time than now to get right with God and start a new life, a more abundant life with the calm and peace that is beyond all understanding. Today is here, tomorrow may never come, don't procrastinate, as you are here one minute and may be gone in the next. And, God allows you to choose to accept His gift or reject it, it is your choice. God LOVES you, that's why He died for you so you could live for Him.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! This day has been set aside since the 1st administration(as a set date) of this new country, as a day of thanksgiving to God Almighty for all His blessings that He pours out on us, through Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to all who are saved by His precious blood and the blessings He pours out on unbelievers also. It is a Christian holiday, established by the Pilgrims, to give thanks to God for delivering them to a new home, where they could worship God according to their conscious, without being persecuted for it, and for the opportunity to proclaim the Gospel of Salvation in Jesus Christ, to any and all, and also thanksgiving for their 1st harvest that God blessed them with.

This tradition has been celebrated by Christians for over 395 years or so, in this country and well before it became a country, and even though it is a national holiday now, the focus of the thanksgiving has always been to God Almighty, and not just a general thanks to what people might call, "luck", happenstance", or "fate", that they think happened in their lives the past year. Thanksgiving is the response to what are the blessings bestowed on us from above, not only on this day, but every day of the year. So, I wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving and give glory to God, My Savior, Jesus Christ, Who, without His sacrifice on the cross, there is no freedom from anything, especially sin sickness, slavery of depravity, or death.

A great way to celebrate this day, if you do not know Jesus Christ as Your Lord and Savior, would be to get right with God and accept His gift of salvation through what His Son did for all of us on the cross, and that is by: Admitting that you are a sinner in need of a Savior to reconcile you to a relationship with God. Believe that Jesus Christ is exactly Who He says He is, THE Savior of ALL mankind and that He shed His blood on that cross He hung from, to pay for the sin debt you had run up against God's morals. And Confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and Believe in your heart that God the Father raised Him from the dead, then you will be saved. It is that simple, all you have to do is accepted the free gift, and God doesn't force His gift on you, He allows you to choose to accept it or to reject it, and the choice you make(and EVERYONE will have to make a choice) will determine where you spend eternity.

Do you want to spend eternity in heaven with Jesus Christ or do you prefer to spend eternity in Hell with everyone else who decides that they don't need a free gift of salvation to be good and meet God's standards, they just need their own self-righteousness? It's your choice, and nobody knows how long they have in this life, so procrastination could lead to devastation, if you wait a second too long. Again, that is your choice to make.

God's Unconditional Love and His Holy Name trumps ALL Evil, ALL Sin, and ALL Hate, and He proved His Unconditional Love by dying on a cross for us, so He wouldn't have to spend eternity without us. Lev. 17:11 Hebrews 9:22 Ezekiel 16:62, 63 John 3:16-18,14:6, 19:30 Ephesians 1:7

Memorial Day

Today is Memorial Day. The day we remember all who have gone before us and paid the ultimate price to help keep this country free. This is part of one of the stanzas of "The Battle Hymn of the Republic"-

"As He died to make men holy 

Let us die to make men free 

While God is marching on."

He who died to make us holy is Jesus Christ. Why did He die? Because someone had to pay the price to allow us a chance to be reconciled to a Holy God. After all, "The wages of sin is death"-Romans 6:23a, so He substituted Himself in our place and took upon Himself all our sins, died for us, and our sin debt was "Paid In Full". That by Him, we could be reconciled to the One True Holy God, by Jesus Christ's righteousness imputed to us, when we believed upon Him.

"Let us die to make men free" is emulating what Jesus Christ did for us. He said in John 15:13-"No one has greater love than this, that someone would lay down his life for his friends." All those men and women, in those graves, died for their country because they thought it was worth it to keep their friends and countrymen free. And not only our military, but also our men and women police officers, firemen, paramedics, so many of whom gave their lives on 9-11, which, almost 17 years later, has been forgotten by part of the population, who don't seem to know what this day is for or that our 1st responders do more than just be targets for ignorant people.

Freedom ALWAYS comes with a price and the freedoms you enjoy today were given by God Almighty and have been protected by people who think more of God, country, family, and friends than their own lives. This Memorial Day, take time to remember what people, who you have never met, have done for you. Remember that their ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, because they died for their friends and countrymen, just like Jesus Christ died for His friends, everyone of us, so that we could be freed from the power of Satan, Sin, and Death. That is true freedom, and it came by the shedding of blood.

Merry CHRISTmas

Merry CHRISTmas to all my church family, relatives, and all my friends! May all that believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and their Savior be blessed by all the blessings of God Almighty on and in their lives, which are countless, and may all my relatives and friends, who do not know Jesus Christ, come to know the gift God the Father gave to mankind, to reconcile mankind to Himself, which was placing His Son, Jesus Christ, on a cross, to pay for all our sins, by the shedding of His blood and dying for us, so that by Him and through Him, we can be reconciled to Him, and live for Him, as Jesus Christ is the only hope for mankind, in all things.

And by His death, burial, and resurrection on the 3rd day, He secured the Victory over Satan(he can never have the souls of any whosoever who accepts Jesus Christ as their Savior), Sin(The curse of sin was destroyed), and Death(Which was abolished, because the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ Our Lord; to all who believe in Him), and established peace between God and mankind. The greatest Gift, the priceless Gift, that has ever been given to mankind, is waiting to be opened by all who have not opened this Gift or accepted this Gift, and there is no better time than now, today, this moment, to open the Gift of salvation and be reconciled to the One True God. You will be changed from the old person, the walking dead, to the new person, the living saint, and enjoy the life that God has planned for you, from the beginning of creation.

If you want the cure to sin-sickness, hopelessness, and despair, then open God's Gift to you, right now, because it will not be offered to you once you have passed from this life. Christ is the reason for this season, and for all seasons. Be reconciled to God today, for tomorrow may never come, and waiting a second too long means spending eternity separated from God, and all your family and friends, who have made the decision to accept Christ into their lives, FOREVER. God loves you and He proved it by sacrificing His Son on a cross for you. Will you find a greater love than that anywhere else? Have you?

God did it all, all you have to do is believe it in your heart

There's only One True God, who paved the way for man to be reconciled to Him, after Adan and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, thus bringing sin into the world, along with death and separation from God; Who created man to have fellowship with Him, and a personal relationship with Him. How did He pave the way? By putting His Son, Jesus Christ, on a cross, to take our place and pay the price for our sin debt(past, presence, and future, ALL of them), because it was a price we couldn't pay ourselves. By Jesus Christ's shed blood("According to the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness"-Hebrews 9:22), a drop of which covered my sins, a drop of it covered your sins, a drop of it covered every single person sins, personally, and our sin debt was Paid In Full and by believing on Jesus Christ, Who is God Almighty Himself, always has been and always will be God Almighty, and accepting what He did for you on the cross, you are saved from the condemnation that is upon you. God also gave us His Word, the Holy Bible, to reveal the turth to us, all we have to do is ask Him to do so, sincerely, and He will open eyes, unclog ears, and soften hearts with His truth and the truth will set people free.

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"-Romans 3:23

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus Our Lord"-Romans 6:23

"But God proves His own love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us"-Romans 5:8

"For by grace you are saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God's gift--9)not from works, so that no one can boast"-Ephesians 2:8,9 

"So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the message about Christ"-Romans 10:17

"if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10)With the heart one believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses, resulting in salvation"-Romans 10:9,10

God did all the work all one needs to do is believe. Now why would God go to that extreme? 

"For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him(Jesus Christ) will not perish but have eternal life. 17)For God did not send His Son into the world that He might condemn the world, but that the world might be save through Him. 18)Anyone who believes in Him(Jesus Christ) is not condemned, but anyone who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the One and Only Son of God"-John 3:16-18

"But to all who did receive Him, He gave them the power to become children of God"-John 1:12

"Jesus told him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me"-John 14:6

Why? Because He loves us unconditionally, and if He didn't pay our price, which no man could do, we would of spent eternity separated from Him. That is a love beyond our comprehension, a love that cost God everything in order to save mankind from eternal damnation. God did it all and left no room for man to save himself or claim participation in it. Salvation is a work of God, not man. It was Jesus Christ(eternally God, temporarily man) on that cross, it was Jesus Christ(eternally God, temporarily man) Who shed His blood, it was Jesus Christ(eternally God, temporarily man) Who died, was buried, and raised on the 3rd day, for Victory over the power of Satan, Sin, and Death, saving all who believe on Him from bondage and death and giving all who believe eternal life, a life more abundant than anything imagined. There's no better time than right now to get right with God, if you haven't already. Today is here, tomorrow may never come. Open the greatest gift given to mankind, salvation and reconciliation with the One True God Who created us, you will NEVER regret it, ever!

Where Do You Stand With Jesus Christ?

To all my love ones, friends, and people I don't know but who can read this, I have the most important questions you'll ever be asked. Where do you stand with Jesus Christ? Do you know Him and have a personal relationship with Him? If not, why not? There is no time like today to ask Jesus Christ to be Your Lord and Your Savior because tomorrow may never come. I don't know how long I have remaining on this earth but I do know where I am going once I leave it and it's to spend eternity with Him and I want to also spend eternity with all my love ones, friends, and also people I don't even know because when I do leave, if you never accept what Jesus Christ did for you on the cross, you will never see me again. Ever. That's why it's so important to get right with God Almighty because He did all the work, paid for all our sins upon the cross, shed His blood to cover ALL our sins(past, present, and future), died, was buried, and was raised on the 3rd day, for Victory over the power of Satan, Sin, and Death. All you have to do to be saved is to follow the A.B.C.s.

 

Accept what Jesus Christ did for you on the cross.

Believe that He is God Almighty and the Messiah and paid your price on the cross, a price you could NEVER pay for yourself, when He took your place.

Confess that you are a sinner before a Holy God and you need a Savior to save you from the consquences of sin, which is death, and repent of ALL your sins. 

 

God made it easy for us to find His Salvation, because He did all the work and it cost Him everything to do so, which was His Son, hanging from a cross for you and I, paying our price, so we wouldn't miss it. And you are given a title when you are saved, Whosoever, because, "Whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord SHALL be saved". God loves you so much that He did everything so He wouldn't have to spend eternity without you. Accept His free gift today, you will never regret it! EVER!

Why thinking you're good enough ISN'T good enough

"For by grace you are saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God's gift--not from works, so that no one can boast."--Ephesians 2:8,9

Salvation is a work of God, not a work of man. It always has been and it always will be. No matter what anybody thinks, they CAN'T work their way to salvation. I'll use myself as an example. I'll be 47 soon and lets say that at the age of 7, I was able to understand the difference between right and wrong, right as defined by God, as well as wrong as defined by God. So, eventho I've been saved since 1998, I've had 40 years of sins committed against God. Lets say I've committed 1 Billion sins(and I think this is very conservative, as I think I've sinned A LOT more than a Billion times). 40 years x 365 days, + 10 days for Leap Years=14,610 days of sinning. Divide 1 Billion sins by 14610 days of sinning = 68,446 sins/ day. That's a lot of sinning each day. Now, is there anyway I could do 68,447 good works each day to balance out the sins I commit plus lift the scale to justify myself by my own righteousness? There's a chance I might be able to do 1 day, but 14,610 days?

There's NO CHANCE OF THAT HAPPENING because I an unable to keep up the charade of my own goodness. That's WHY God put His Son on a cross, because He was the PERFECT SACRIFICE, the One, who has always been fully God, became temporaily man, to live the sinless life in human form so that His Father could put not only my sins upon Him and satisfy His wrath against sin, but also yours. That's why it's foolish to believe that somehow, you're a good enough person to skate into heaven without the need of a Savior. God's Word says there's only ONE way(John 14:6), and that is through His Son, Jesus Christ, Who paid the sin debt in full for every sin you and I will ever commit, past sins, present sins, future sins. What are you going to do about Jesus Christ? Are you going to accept Him or reject Him? Your choice has eternal consquences, and just like God's Word, the numbers do not lie. Try to see how long you can make it on your own righteousness, then get on your knees and asked Jesus Christ to forgive you of your sins, accept what He did for you on Calvary, and ask Him into your heart as your Lord and your Savior. Be reconciled to God today!
